The Point Peron Camp School is part of the Department of Education and Training Network of Camp Schools located in unique locations around Western Australia. The Point Peron Camp School assists schools to achieve their purpose of having students achieve outcomes. The Point Peron Camp School provides a unique opportunity for students to further develop knowledge, skills, values and understandings across the curriculum in a safe and relevant learning environment.

All groups are expected to bring a mobile phone with the leaders and this is to be used for contact during an emergency. The manager's mobile is available in an emergency situation.

In accordance with Government Regulations, the camp school is a smoke free zone.
